The Wheel of the Pagan Year
The wheel of the year depicted on my website is one interpretation of the Pagan year. Many groups and individuals will depict it with the sabats pointing in different directions or will call the holidays by different names. The one thing that should remain the same on all wheels is the way the days counter each other. For instance, Samhain is the opposite of Beltain and Yule is opposite Midsummer and so on. The varieties of interpretations stems from the difference in customs and importance of the holidays in different parts of the world. As long as the balance of the holidays are correct, there is no “wrong way” to picture the wheel.
